China Steel Grating: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel grating from China (A-570-947) (here). Commerce found Ningbo Haitian International Co., Ltd. did not demonstrate independence from state control, assigning the company the China-wide AD duty rate of 145.18%. Commerce will assess AD duties at this rate on subject merchandise from Ningbo Haitian entered between July 1, 2014, and June 30, 2015. A 145.48% AD duty cash deposit rate for Ningbo Haitian takes effect Aug. 5.

Commerce also found Yantai Xinke Steel Structure Co., Ltd. did not have any shipments to the U.S. during the period of review, so the company's AD duty rate is unchanged. Additionally, for any other exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all exporters of subject merchandise except Ningbo Haitian and Yantai Xinke), cash deposit rates will also remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. For companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the China-wide rate applies.
(The review period is 07/01/14 -- 06/30/15. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
