- Update to the implementation of the Accounts Receivable Ledger (ARL). The CBSA has issued Customs Notice 16-06 which informs trade chain partners of changes to the process of providing K84 statements to importers and brokers issuing refunds checks and providing printed copies of ARL statements. - eManifest requirements for tow truck operators. The CBSA has issued Customs Notice 16-07 which is to inform tow truck operators of the CBSA's interim policy with respect for Advance Commercial Information (ACI) requirements for empty (tow truck) conveyances and conveyances (tow trucks) hauling disabled commercial vehicles. - Importation of energy using products. The CBSA has released Memorandum D19-6-3 which has been revised to reflect the information about the Single Window Implementation as it applies to the importation of energy-using products; it identifies responsibilities of the Canada Border Services Agency and Natural Resources Canada and outlines requirements for importation of energy-using products. - China certain carbon and alloy steel line pipe. The CBSA has issued a final determination of dumping and subsidizing on certain carbon and alloy steel line pipe originating in or exported from China. (here)
