  • Canadian International merchandise trade for September. Statistics Canada is reporting that Canada’s imports declined 1.3% in September while exports increased by 0.7%, which resulted in Canada’s merchandise trade deficit narrowing from $2.7 billion in August to $1.7 billion in September.   • Update to the implementation of the Single Window Initiative. The CBSA has issued Customs Notice 15-034 to advise commercial importers, customs brokers and software/service providers that the CFIA is available for the Integrated Import Declaration (IID). (here)
