New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Oct. 9

For entries on or after Oct. 9, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the most recent previous administrative review, and companies that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the China-wide rate. The new rates are as follows:

ExporterAD Rate
Jacobi Carbons AB, Tianjin Jacobi International Trading Co. Ltd., and Jacobi Carbons Industry (Tianjin)$1.05/kg
Datong Juqiang Activated Carbon Co., Ltd.zero
Average rate for 13 companies*$1.05/kg

*Includes Beijing Pacific Activated Carbon Products Co., Ltd., Calgon Carbon (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.; Carbon Activated Tianjin Co., Ltd.; Datong Municipal Yunguang Activated Carbon Co., Ltd.; Datong Juqiang Activated Carbon Co., Ltd.; Jacobi Carbons AB; Jilin Bright Future Chemicals Company, Ltd.; Ningxia Guanghua Cherishmet Activated Carbon Co., Ltd.; Ningxia Huahui Activated Carbon Co., Ltd.; Ningxia Mineral & Chemical Limited; Shanxi DMD Corporation; Shanxi Industry Technology Trading Co., Ltd.; Shanxi Sincere Industrial Co., Ltd.; Tancarb Activated Carbon Co., Ltd.; Tianjin Channel Filters Co., Ltd.; and Tianjin Maijin Industries Co., Ltd.

China-wide rate. Commerce found Ningxia Guanghua A/C Co., Ltd., Shanghai Astronautical Science Technology Development Corporation, Tangshan Solid Carbon Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Xingda Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. did not cooperate in the review, and assigned them the $2.42/kg China-wide rate.

No shipments. Commerce found Sinoacarbon International Trading Co., Ltd. had no exports to the U.S. during the period of review, so its rate will not change.

(The review period is 04/01/13 -- 03/31/14. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 1501070016 for summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
