China Garlic: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on garlic from China (A-570-831) (here). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered Nov. 1, 2012 through Oct. 31, 2013 and exported by the approximately 130 companies under review.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect June 15
For entries on or after June 15, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the most recent previous administrative review, and companies that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the China-wide rate. The new rates are as follows:

China-wide rate. Commerce found 124 companies, including Hebei Golden Bird Trading Co., Ltd. and Jinxiang Hejia Co., Ltd., did not demonstrate independence from Chinese government control, assigning them the China-wide entity rate of $4.71/kg. See Commerce's notice for a full list.
No shipments. Commerce also found 13 companies had no exports to the U.S. during the period of review. These company's AD duty rates will each remain at the most recent rate set for each company. See Commerce's notice for a list of these companies.

Commerce is setting assessments of AD duties at the rates listed above for importers of subject merchandise from companies under review for entries from Nov. 1, 2012 through Oct 31, 2013.
