  • CFIA to launch Agri-Food pilot for Apples. The CFIA has announced it is launching an Agri-Food pilot for Apples to reduce inspection rates for bulk shipments of apples grown in or imported directly from the United States. (here)
  • Implementation of the Single Window Initiative (SWI). The CBSA has issued Customs Notice 15-014 which provides information for commercial importers, software vendors, and custom brokers on SWI. Effective March 29, 2015 the CBSA launched a new electronic accounting release service option providing alternatives to CBSA’s existing PARS and RMD release process. (here)
  • United States Whole Potatoes. The CBSA has issued its expiry review decision which determined that expiration is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of whole potatoes that originated in or were exported from the United States of America. (here)
