New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Jan. 27
For entries on or after Jan. 27, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for some exporters. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the most recent previous administrative review, and companies that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the China-wide rate of 92.84%. The new rates are as follows:
Exporter | AD Rate |
---|---|
Changshan Peer Bearing Co., Ltd. (CPZ/SKF) | 0.65% |
Zhejiang Zhaofeng Mechanical and Electronic Co., Ltd. | 0.65% |
In its concurrent new shipper review, Commerce is also setting a new AD cash deposit rate for subject merchandise both produced and exported by Shanghai Tainai:
Manufacturer | Exporter | AD Rate |
---|---|---|
Shanghai Tainai Bearing Co., Ltd. | Shanghai Tainai Bearing Co., Ltd. | zero |
Assessment Rates For Entries June 2012 - May 2013
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013. The agency said it will calculate importer-specific rates for importers of subject merchandise from the CPZ/SKF. For Shanghai Tainai, which received a zero percent rate, Commerce will instruct CBP to liquidate entries manufactured and exported by the company without payment of AD duties.
(The review period is 01/01/12 -- 12/31/12. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 14072216 for summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
