ITC Begins Section 337 Patent Investigation on Driver Assistance Cameras
The International Trade Commission voted on Nov. 7 to begin an investigation on whether imports of vision-based driver assistance system cameras infringe patents held by TRW Automotive, in violation of Section 337. TRW filed its complaint Sept. 20, targeting imports by Magna Electronics. It is asking for a limited exclusion order and a cease and desist order barring import and sale of the allegedly infringing merchandise.
