China Stainless Steel Sinks: Details of AD Duty Order
The Commerce Department issued an antidumping duty order on drawn stainless steel sinks from China (A-570-983). The agency said it left out a producer-exporter combination rate from the final determination, so it amended the final determination rates to add the omitted AD rate. The order details a "gap period" of April 3-9 of no AD duty liability due to the expiration of the provisional measures period.

Gap Period of No AD Suspension of Liq or AD Duties for April 3-9
For this investigation, the six-month provisional measures period for which the AD suspension of liquidation may remain in effect before the order is issued began on Oct. 4, 2012 (the publication date of the preliminary determination) and ended on April 3, 2013.
As the International Trade Commission's final affirmative injury determination was published on April 10, Commerce is instructing CBP to terminate the AD suspension of liquidation and to liquidate, without regard to AD duties, unliquidated entries of subject merchandise from China entered on or after April 3, and through April 9 (the gap period).
(For subject merchandise from China entered on or after Oct. 4 through April 2, suspension of liquidation and AD duty liability remains in effect.)
AD Suspension of Liq Instructions
Suspension of liquidation resumes for all entries of subject merchandise from China entered on or after April 10, the date that the final ITC affirmative injury determination was published.
AD Cash Deposit Instructions
An AD cash deposit requirement is also in effect for subject merchandise from China entered on or after April 10. Commerce amended the rates it published in the final determination, because it omitted a producer-exporter combination from the table in its Feb. 26 Federal Register notice. The amended final determination published with this AD duty order adds a rate for the exporter Zoje for merchandise the company itself produces.
Commerce will instruct CBP to require, at the same time as importers deposit estimated duties, a cash deposit equal to the AD duty rates listed below for all entries of subject merchandise from China entered on or after April 10, as follows:
