ITC to Review ALJ Finding of Section 337 Violations in LED Photo Devices Patent Case

The International Trade Commission will review certain aspects of an administrative law judge’s final initial determination in the Section 337 patent investigation of certain LED photographic lighting devices and components thereof. The ALJ found violations of Section 337 by imports that infringe some of petitioner Litepanels’ patent claims, but found no violation for other patent claims. The ITC will also review public interest factors arising from issuance of a general exclusion order.
