Oman Circular Welded Pipe: ITA Finds Subsidization, CV Rates Take Effect

The International Trade Administration issued its final affirmative countervailing duty determination on circular welded pipe from Oman (C-523-802), which found a CV rate of 4.13 percent for all Omani exporters. The ITA had found no countervailable subsidization in its preliminary determination. Suspension of liquidation for CV purposes and collection of CV cash deposits/bonds will begin Oct. 22.

CV Suspension of Liquidation and Cash/Bond Requirements

The ITA will instruct CBP to suspend liquidation for CV duty purposes for all entries of subject merchandise from Oman that are entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after Oct. 22. If the International Trade Commission does not find injury to U.S. industry in its final determination, CV cash deposits or bonds will be refunded or canceled.
