instituted in July 2011 to investigate whether imports of LG’s liquid crystal displays (LCDs) infringe OSRAM’s patents. While the administrative law judge said LG did not infringe one of OSRAM’s patents, it said LG’s products passed the three-part test of infringement, injury, and validity with respect to another of OSRAM’s patents. The ITC will now determine whether to review the initial determination.
