Commission and in federal court. The parties didn't disclose financial terms of the agreement, but ON Corp. will make royalty payments for sales of licensed products. Vizio acquired seven QAM-related patents in April 2009 from Motorola, which have been the subject of patent infringement suits and countersuits among Vizio, Funai and LG and others. The patents were granted to General Instrument between 1993 and 1997.
