ITC to Review Final ID in Patent Investigation of Motorola Smartphones
The International Trade Commission has determined to review part of the administrative law judge's December 2011 final initial determination that, among other things, Motorola violated certain claims of the '566 patent held by Microsoft in its imports, sale for importation, or sale within the U.S. after import of certain mobile devices (smartphones), associated software, and components thereof (337-TA-744). The ALJ had also recommended a remedy and bonding.

The complainant is Microsoft Corp. of Redmond, Washington, and the respondents are Motorola Mobility, Inc. of Libertyville, Illinois and Motorola, Inc. of Schaumberg, Illinois.
