The ITA is initiating this review to determine whether C.P. Vietnam Corporation is the successor-in-interest to C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation (Livestock) for purposes of determining AD duty liability.
ITA Preliminarily Determines C.P. Vietnam Corp. is Successor
The ITA has preliminarily concluded that C.P. Vietnam Corp. is the successor-in-interest to Livestock and, as a result, should be accorded the same AD duty treatment previously given to Livestock; i.e. 1.04%.
Should the ITA's final results remain the same as these preliminary results, effective the date of publication of the final results, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assign entries of merchandise produced and exported by C.P. Vietnam the estimated AD cash deposit rate applicable to Livestock.
(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.
See ITT's Online Archives or 09/13/11 news, 11091251, for BP summary of the ITA's most recent final results of administrative review for subject merchandise from Vietnam.)
