ITC Receives Digital Imaging Patent Complaint Against Apple, HTC, Etc.

The International Trade Commission has received a patent complaint filed on behalf of Eastman Kodak Company, which alleges violations of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 in the importation into the U.S., the sale for importation, and the sale within the U.S. after importation of certain electronic devices for capturing and transmitting images, and components thereof.

The complaint names the following companies as respondents:

  • Apple Inc. of Cupertino, CA;
  • High Tech Computer Corp. (a/k/a HTC Corp.) of Taiwan;
  • HTC America, Inc. of Bellevue, WA; and
  • Exedea, Inc. of Houston, TX.
