investigations under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930. The ITC is correcting 19 CFR 210.10(b) to state that a Federal Register notice instituting an investigation "will define the scope of the investigation and may be amended as provided in 210.14(b) and (c)." The intended effect of the final rule is to aid the ITC in identifying investigations that require further development of public interest issues in the record, and to identify and develop information regarding the public interest at each stage of the investigation.
