Hobby Radio Transmitters: ITC Issues Limited Exclusion Order, 100% Bond
On September 27, 2011, the International Trade Commission issued a limited exclusion order in its section 337 patent-based investigation of certain radio control hobby transmitters and receivers and products containing same (337-TA-763). The limited exclusion order prohibits the unlicensed entry of these items that infringe one or more of certain specified patent claims, copyrights, or marks and that are manufactured abroad or imported by or on behalf of Koko Technology Ltd. of China or Cyclone Toy & Hobby of China (or any of their affiliated companies, parents, subsidiaries, licensees, contractors, other related business entities, successors or assigns).

The bond for entries during the 60-day Presidential review period is set at 100% of the entered value of the covered products.
