ITC Receives Complaint that Apple, RIM Violate Mobil Data Device Patent
The International Trade Commission states it has received a complaint filed by Openwave Systems Inc., which alleges violations of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 in the importation into the U.S., the sale for importation, and the sale within the U.S. after importation of certain devices for mobile data communication. The complaint names Apple Inc. of CA; Research In Motion Ltd. of Canada; and Research in Motion Corp. of TX as respondents.
