Liquidation Extensions & Suspension Statuses to Continue to be Mailed

In support of the elimination of the printing of the courtesy notices of liquidation (CF4333A) for entry summaries filed electronically, CBP will be providing a new ACE report for importers -- AM 100, Courtesy Notice of Liquidation. CBP states that Liquidation Extensions and Suspension statuses will not be reflected in the new ACE Courtesy Notice of Liquidation report. CBP states such information will continue to be printed and mailed to the appropriate parties.

In addition to the new ACE Courtesy Notice of Liquidation report, users will be able to customize existing reports to include data objects available in the new report. The ACE report will be located in the Account Management/Detail Reports/Entry Summary folder.

(See ITT's Online Archives or 08/17/11 news, 11081706, for BP summary of CBP's final rule to discontinue mailing paper courtesy notices of liquidation.)

"C-TPAT FAST ID" Column Added to DTOPS Conveyance Screen for Trucks

CBP notes that a new column called "C-TPAT FAST ID" was added to the Decal/Transponder Online Procurement System (DTOPS) Conveyance Lookup screen as part of the recent DTOPS release. If users are receiving error messages stating that their FAST manifest is rejected for an invalid conveyance, they need to add their FAST ID to their conveyance(s) on the DTOPS Portal in order to set the FAST Indicator.

Issues with “Includes Entries with No Entry Date" Prompt in Certain Reports

CBP is aware of an issue when running the ESM 7008, Entry Summary Line Detail, and

ESM 7068, Entry Summary, reports. The "Include entries with No Entry Date" prompt is returning the same results regardless of whether the default is set to "Yes" or "No." If users need to include entries with no entry date in the report, CBP states users should simply run the report under "Modify" and remove the "Entry Date" filter from the "Query Filters" panel. The results returned will include entries with no entry date.

(Note that the August TAO also has articles on topics already covered in ITT, such as how to apply for participation in Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS), PMS for quotas, the deployment of e-Manifest: Ocean and Rail (M1), etc.)
