Treasury Issues Its Semi-Annual Regulatory Agenda for CBP
The Treasury Department has published its spring 2011 semi-annual regulatory agenda for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

This agenda is a comprehensive list of Treasury's CBP rulemakings (i.e. those regulations that pertain to 19 CFR) that are pending at the proposed, interim final, final, and completed stages, as well as rulemakings that are long-term actions. The agenda lists the regulation title; past regulation(s), if any; the timeframe for the next regulatory action(s), if any; a brief description of the regulation; and a contact party name and telephone number.
Note that most items on the agenda are not issued by their "target date."
Spring Agenda Includes 5 New Rulemakings, 2 Items Now Completed
Treasury’s spring 2011 agenda for CBP is similar to the fall 2010 agenda. However, five new rulemakings were included in the spring agenda (marked with an asterisk (*) and two rulemakings were moved to the completed stage (marked with a plus sign (+)).
