China Hand Trucks: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of hand trucks from China (A-570-891) for the period December 1, 2008 through November 30, 2009.

Final Results of Review

As a result of its review, the ITA determines that the following weighted-average margin percentages exist for the period of review:

Estimated AD Cash Deposit Requirements

The following estimated AD duty cash deposit requirements are effective for all shipments of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after June 21, 2011:

  1. No cash deposit will be required for New-Tec, as its AD duty rate is zero; however, it remains subject to the order;
  2. For previously investigated companies not listed above, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period of review;
  3. If the exporter is a firm not covered in this review, a prior review, or the original less-than-fair-value investigation, but the manufacturer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the subject merchandise; and
  4. The cash deposit rate for all other manufacturers or exporters will be the PRC-wide rate of 383.60 percent.

Assessment Instructions

The ITA has calculated importer-specific ad valorem duty assessment rates for subject merchandise. The ITA will issue assessment instructions to CBP within 15 days after June 21, 2011.
