ANSI X.12
In ANSI X.12 sets 309 and 358, REF segment REF01 Note:
Changed gray note to read: Code identifying crew member’s or passenger’s identification document. For each crew member and passenger, a travel document must be reported. For each trip at least one driver’s license (code 5J, 5K or 6W) must also be reported. A code 6W Enhanced Driver’s License qualifies as a travel document, but a code 5J or 5K driver’s license does not qualify as a travel document. If an Enhanced Driver’s License is used to satisfy both the travel document and the driver’s license requirement, it must be reported twice: once with code 6W and again with code 5J or 5K.
ANSI X.12 309 set, N9 segment N901:
Added code ‘XC’ for ‘Canadian CCN’
Truck 309 set: N902 Note
Added gray note: Canadian CCN: This is the Canadian truck Bill of Lading in USA-Canada-USA and Canada-USA-Canada intransit movements. The Canadian CCN may be up to 25 positions.
(There are no corresponding UN EDIFACT changes as these conditions only occur in the ANSI X.12 standard.)
