Often times the trade has a bill of lading number and needs to tie the bill back to the entry/entry summary data. If the BOL field was available under the "add hoc or modify" feature of ACE reports, reports such as AM_008, ESM 008, etc. could be used to cross reference the data. The BOL number should be available on all cargo entry, cargo exam and entry summary reports as well as ACE Entry Summary reports. This GIF covers GIF 187 dated 12/6/2005. This change should also be designed so that any House BOL or Sub-house BOL numbers would also be provided once such data is available. CR was approved for this GIF but has not been scheduled.
