No Cash Deposit Required, CV Order Revoked Effective August 11, 2008

The ITA's CV duty administrative review covers one company, Hynix Semiconductor, Inc. However, the CV duty order was revoked for effective for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after August 11, 2008.

As a result, CBP is no longer suspending liquidation for entries of subject merchandise occurring after the revocation. Therefore, there is no need to issue new cash deposit instructions pursuant to the final results of this administrative review. (See ITT's Online Archives or 10/06/08 news, 08100660, for BP summary of the revocation.)

CBP to Assess Shipments During Review Period by Hynix at 1.93%

The ITA will issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection within 15 days after January 13, 2011. The ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate shipments of DRAMS by Hynix with a time of entry during the review period at 1.93 percent ad valorem.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, changes since the preliminary results, etc.

See ITT's Online Archives or 09/15/10 news, 10091522, for BP summary of the preliminary results of this review.)
