ITC Terminates Patent Investigation of Semiconductor Products Against Samsung, Etc.
The International Trade Commission is terminating the Section 337 patent-based investigation of certain semiconductor products made by advanced lithography techniques and products containing same (Inv. No. 337-TA-729), which was based on a complaint filed against Samsung Electronics Company Limited of South Korea and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited of Taiwan.

The ITC has determined not to review the presiding administrative law judge's initial determination granting a joint motion to terminate the investigation as to one respondent on the basis of a settlement agreement, and terminating the investigation.
