CBP has posted an updated list of companies/persons who have developed software applications for ACE electronic truck manifest. All companies/persons who are listed have been through the CBP testing process. 4. CBP Announces Feb 4th Opening of 180-Day Special Import Quota for Upland Cotton

CBP has issued a memorandum announcing a special import quota of 14,816,030 kg for upland cotton that is provided for in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter III, U.S. Note 6 and is entered under HTS 9903.52.82. (CBP notes that this quantity is not subject to the TRQs in Chapter 52 Additional U.S. Notes 5 through 10.) The quota period is February 4, - August 2, 2010. To be counted under this quota, the cotton must be imported during this period and purchased not later than May 4, 2010. The opening date was February 4, 2010. 8. CBP Update on Southwest Border Fence Construction Progress

CBP has posted an update on the progress of the southwest border fence construction. According to CBP, as of February 5, 2010, CBP has completed roughly 643.3 miles of fencing (344.8 miles of primary pedestrian fence and 298.5 miles of vehicle fence) along the Southwest Border.
