New AD/CVD Filing and Management Capabilities

ESAR III provides new capabilities specific to the filing and processing of antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) entries (also known as type 03 entries) as well as AD/CVD Case Management.

New Entry Summary Formatting Impacts All ACE Accounts

In addition, ESAR III also improves portal navigation and changes entry summary formatting, which impacts all ACE accounts.

According to CBP's earlier messages, all AE transactions (ACE entry summaries) must now be filed using the new record formats; any AE transactions filed using the prior record formats will be rejected.

1Note that CBP was also scheduled on February 14, 2010 to allow testing in the Certification environment for the CUSRES (Customs Response Message) pending Importer Security Filing transaction set, which is scheduled to deploy on February 24, 2010. CBP was also making additional ISF changes effective February 14, 2010. (See ITT's Online Archives or 02/09/10 news, 10020905, for BP summary.)
