2. APHIS Indefinitely Delays Effective Date for Korea's Addition to List of Rinderpest/FMD-Free Regions

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is delaying indefinitely the effective date of a December 2009 final rule, which was scheduled to become effective on January 12, 2010, to add the Republic of Korea to the list of regions that are considered free of rinderpest and foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) and the list of regions that are subject to certain import restrictions on meat and meat products because of their proximity to or trading relationships with rinderpest- or FMD-affected countries. APHIS is delaying the effective date due to an outbreak of FMD reported by Korea on January 6, 2010. 3. BIS Adds 15 Persons to Entity List, Amends One Entry

The Bureau of Industry and Security has issued a final rule, effective January 13, 2010, which amends the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by adding fifteen persons under sixteen entries to the Entity List (Supplement No. 4 to Part 744). This rule also amends one Iranian entry currently on the Entity List by adding an additional address for the person listed. 4. China Says It Is Now Largest Global Producer & Consumer of Cars

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has posted its annual report on DFAIT's operations under the Export and Import Permits Act for the year 2007 and reports on Exports of Military Goods from Canada. 6. APHIS Animal Product PPQ Manual Updated

On January 11, 2010, APHIS updated its Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Animal Product Manual.
