CBP CSMS Messages and Web Postings
CBP has issued a CSMS message stating effective with the January 17, 2010 deployment of ESAR A2.3.1a (ESAR III), importers with an ACE portal account will be able to view and respond to CBP Forms 28, 29 and 4647 via the ACE Portal for all entry summaries (that is, both ACS and ACE entry summaries).

1. With ESAR A2.3.1a Comes Ability to Respond to CBP Forms 28, 29, and 4647 via Portal for All Entry Summaries
Brokers responding to CBP forms 28, 29 and 4647 on behalf of their clients must do so through the importer's portal account. Importers will need to grant brokers the appropriate access. 2. Netherlands' MAQ for Certain Condensed/Evaporated Milk is Satisfied
CBP has posted a memorandum regarding the 2010 low-duty TRQ for milk and cream, condensed or evaporated, provided for in HTS Chapter 4, Additional U.S. Note 11, which opened on January 4, 2010. The minimum access quantity (MAQ) for condensed milk in airtight containers from the Netherlands was satisfied. The balance in excess of this MAQ was applied to the "Any country" limit.
The MAQs were not reached for other countries/commodities. Therefore, the in-quota rate is still available on a first-come, first-serve basis until the balance is exhausted. 3. Border Patrol's Weekly Blotter
CBP posted the U.S. Border Patrol Weekly Blotter for December 31, 2009 - January 6, 2010. The Blotter provides information on Border Patrol activities during the specified week.
