CBP Issues New ICP on Its Rulings Program

This publication was prepared by Regulations and Rulings and provides guidance on the administrative process involved in submitting ruling requests, requests for internal advice, requests for protest reviews, and requests to reconsider previously issued ruling letters.

The CBP ruling program is intended to provide the international trade community with a transparent and efficient means of understanding how CBP will treat a particular import once it arrives in the U.S. The purpose of this publication is to provide an introduction to the rulings process.
