October 2009 Customs Broker Exam Had 6.9% Pass Rate
U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently posted the October 2009 customs broker license exam and answer key. According to CBP sources, the pass rate for the October exam was 6.9%.

Pass Rate, Number of Persons Taking Exam, Down from April Exam
The 6.9% pass rate for the October 2009 customs broker license exam is low compared to the 11.4% pass rate for the April 2009 exam.
Approximately 1,200 persons took the October 2009 exam, which is down compared to April 2009, when approximately 1,500 persons took the exam. Those that passed the exam are eligible to apply for a Customs brokers license.
One "Problem" Question
According to the answer key and sources, the October 2009 exam had one "problem" question - credit was granted to all for question 60.
