CBP CSMS Messages and Web Postings

1. Amistad Dam Port of Entry to be Closed Oct. 26 - Oct. 30

2. Correction to CAMIR ISF Transaction Set & Pending Transaction Set

CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that a typo has been found in the Importer Security Filing - CAMIR document that was published October 1, 2009 on the Security Filing Transaction Sets. The SF10 record includes Note 6 relating to the Bond Activity Codes and should correctly read as follows:

  1. Importer or Broker
  2. Custodian of Bonded Merchandise
  3. International Carrier
  4. Foreign Trade Zone Operator
  5. ISF Bond

This typo was also carried over into the ISF - CAMIR document published on the Pending Transaction Sets page. The SF10 record includes Note 7 relating to the Bond Activity Codes and should correctly read as follows:

  1. Importer or Broker
  2. Custodian of Bonded Merchandise
  3. International Carrier
  4. Foreign Trade Zone Operator
  5. ISF Bond

These chapters have been posted in advance of the deployment of AD/CVD entry summary type 03 and related processing in ACE, which is expected in January 2010.
