CBP has issued a memorandum informing CBP ports and the trade that the filing period of the First Sale Declaration indicator has ended effective August 19, 2009. According to CBP sources, the ABI system will continue to accept the first sale indicator if it is submitted, even though it is no longer required. 2. New Information Available to Assist ACE Users when Running Reports
CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that new information is now available to assist all ACE report users when running ACE Reports. Users can simply launch the reporting tool; select the "" beside Public Folders and then select "Help". Users will see two help sources. The first source is the ACE Portal Reports Dictionary which defines the most frequently run ACE reports by account type for trade and by CBP and PGA user. The second source is the Reports User Guide which contains step by step instructions for running ACE reports. 3. Updated TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List
CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections - those that are at least 85% filled and those that are closed. 4. Foreign Currency Exchange Rate Multipliers for Week Ending 08/28
