5. EPA Sends Proposed Rule on Greenhouse Gas Mandatory Reporting to OMB

The Environmental Protection Agency has sent to the Office of Management and Budget for approval its proposed rule to establish monitoring, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements on facilities that produce, import, or emit greenhouse gases above a specific threshold in order to provide comprehensive and accurate data to support a range of future climate policy options. 6. Federal Guidelines for Businesses to Plan for Upcoming Flu Season

The Department of Homeland Security has posted new guidance for businesses to plan for and respond to the upcoming flu season. The guidance, released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is designed to help employers prepare now for the impact of seasonal and 2009 H1N1 influenza could have this fall and winter on their employers and operations.
