(ACE entry summary filing capabilities were delivered with ESAR A2.2 and were first deployed at the Port of Buffalo. CBP's three-phase deployment schedule for ACE entry summary capabilities is limited to the 39 volunteers that responded to CBP's original request for comments and indication of interest to participate in the entry summary test. After these three phases are completed, CBP will allow additional entry filers to submit ACE entry summaries.

ESAR A2.2 allows for the filing and processing of formal (type 01) and informal (type 11) entry summaries for those who volunteered to submit such entry summaries in ACE. It also includes certain portal account changes for all ACE accounts.)

Phase 2 Deployed Except for Cleveland, Philadelphia

Phase 21 has been deployed to 15 of the 17 scheduled ports. The ports of Philadelphia, PA and Cleveland, OH, which were the last ports scheduled to be deployed in Phase 2, will nowbe deployed in Phase 3 (nationwide deployment to all remaining ports).

ACE entry summary filing capabilities have been deployed at the following ports to date:

Phase 3 to be Deployed June 18th, All Filers May Begin Transmitting June 29th

Phase 3 is still scheduled for deployment on June 18, 2009. Also, additional entry filers are still scheduled to be permitted to transmit ACE entry summaries beginning on June 29, 2009. Those interested should contact their ABI Client Representative.

ACE Expected to Support Entry Summaries Filed Via RLF by June 29th

Note that ACE is expected to support type 01 and 11 ACE entry summaries filed through remote location filing (RLF) by June 29, 2009.

1ACE entry summary filing capabilities for the 17 ports in Phase 2 were originally scheduled to be deployed "at one time" in May 2009; however, CBP later broke down the deployment into smaller groups, with different deployment dates, the last of which were for Cleveland and Philadelphia in June 2009.
