CBP CSMS Messages and Web Postings
According to CBP sources, ESAR A2.2 (Initial Entry Summary Types) was deployed on April 12, 2009 as scheduled. Sources add that CBP has been able to successfully process several ACE entry summaries. (CBP was expected to deploy ESAR A2.2 ACE entry summary filing capabilities for those who volunteered to submit such entry summaries, first at the Port of Buffalo and then to the other ports included in the initial stage of A2.2's deployment. Certain portal account changes for all ACE accounts were also scheduled to occur nationwide on April 12th.) 2. Revised ACE ABI CATAIR Chapter Posted
CBP has posted a revised version of its ACE ABI CATAIR chapter entitled "Entry Summary Query." A CSMS message announcing the revised version's availability was also issued. 3. Updated TSN User Requirement Tracking Matrix Report
CBP has posted an updated version of the Trade Support Network's User Requirement Tracking Matrix (URTM) report, which provides information on the user requirement recommendations and Great Idea Forms (GIFs) submitted by the trade community via the TSN committees. 4. FDA's OASIS Scheduled Downtime on April 11th
CBP issued a CSMS message stating that the Food and Drug Administration's OASIS Import System was scheduled to be down for maintenance on April 11, 2009. 5. Foreign Currency Exchange Rate Multipliers for Week Ending 4/10

6. CBP Finds Beetle in Seeds Shipment
CBP has issued a news release stating that it made a significant interception while inspecting a sea container shipment from India containing Eastern Indian Spices. A CBP agriculture specialist discovered live adult Khapra Beetles, Trogoderma granarium, and seeds of the Federal Noxious Weed, Asphodelus fistulosus.
