2. CBP Posts CAMIR-Intermodal Amendment 17

4. Revised ICPs on Internal Combustion Piston Engines, Turbojets, Etc.

CBP has posted a revised version of its informed compliance publication entitled "What Every Member of the Trade Community Should Know About: Internal Combustion Piston Engines." CBP has also posted a revised version of its ICP entitled " What Every Member of the Trade Community Should Know About: Turbojets, Turbopropellers and Other Gas Turbines, (HTSUS 8411) and Parts Thereof." 5. Updated TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List

CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor tariff rate quotas and tariff preference levels that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low duty) rate. The list is divided into two sections - quotas that are at least 85% filled and quotas that are closed. 6. ACE Account Holders Can Modify/Create Their Own Reports

CBP has issued a notice stating that it previously deployed the second phase of Ad Hoc Reporting, which allows importers, brokers, carriers and sureties with an ACE portal account to customize all available reports, including account management, account profile and transactions. The expansion of Ad Hoc Reporting also allows account holders to design detailed reports from a blank slate and tailor them to fit their individual business needs. 7. Other CBP Postings and Messages

Nov. 21st ACE TI, KI delay problem fixed. CBP issued a CSMS message on November 21, 2008 announcing that at approximately 8:10 a.m. EST, a delay in response to broker's Query Importer/Bond (KI) and Add CF 5106 (TI) functions was reported. At 2:08 p.m. EST on November 21st, CBP issued a CSMS message announcing that the KI/TI delay had been resolved. (CSMS messages, hyperlinked, 08-000321 and 08-000323)

CBP approved gauger, accredited lab list. CBP has posted a list of approved gaugers and accredited laboratories. The list contains the company name, address, phone number, type (lab and/or gauger) and the date of last inspection. COAC 11th term charter. CBP has posted the 11th term charter for the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions. Marijuana hidden in tractor-trailer seized. CBP has issued a news release announcing that agents from the Hebbronville station recently seized more than 5,700 pounds of marijuana from a tractor-trailer.
