CBP CSMS Messages and Web Postings

CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that in order to perform some previously unplanned maintenance on November 20, 2008, the Food and Drug Administration's OASIS system was scheduled to be down at 4:00 am until 6:00 am. As a result, FDA was to be operating under the Prior Notice Scenario 2 contingency. 2. CBP Posts CAMIR-Intermodal Amendment 16

CBP posted Amendment 16 to the Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR)-Intermodal. According to CBP, the CAMIR-Intermodal was amended as follows:

The "Requirements" and "How Are We Doing" chapters have been updated to reflect a new zip code for CBP located in Springfield, Virginia.

4. DTOPS is Up and Running

CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing that the new Decal Transponder Online Procurement System (DTOPS) is up and running. CBP also points out some helpful information for carriers regarding DTOPS. 5. Other CBP Postings and Messages

Nov. 19th ACE problem fixed. CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that the problem with delays with ACE processing that was announced on November 19, 2008 has been fixed. (CSMS messages, hyperlinked, 08-000311 and 08-000313)

First RFID technology upgrades complete. CBP has issued a news release announcing that technology upgrades are complete at the Pacific Highway and Peace Arch border crossings with Canada, and at the Mariposa and DeConcini ports of entry in Nogales, AZ. These locations mark the start for new Radio Frequency Identification technology deployments at 354 vehicle primary lanes in northern and southern border ports. NEXUS to be Unavailable in GOES System December 1 - 3. According to CBP, NEXUS will be unavailable in the Global Online Enrollment System from Monday, December 1, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. eastern time to Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 9:00 a.m. eastern time. 6. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions

The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
