CBP CSMS Messages and Web Postings
CBP has issued a CSMS message informing all parties of interest that the country code and country name of East Timor (TP) has been changed to Timor-Leste (TL). CBP asks the trade to note the change, as ABI will no longer accept East Timor (TP) in any ABI transmission effective October 30, 2008. Changes have already been made to Appendix B of the CATAIR. 2. Updated "ACE on the Road" Event Schedule
CBP has posted an updated version of its "ACE on the Road" event schedule, which includes the following event:
December 9, 2008 - ACE Information Seminar in Denver, CO. A conference flyerwas also posted. Free. (A CSMS message announcing this seminar was also issued.)
Topics for this seminar include the current status of ACE, future releases of ACE, ACE reports (demonstration), etc.

3. Over $2 Million Seized at Detroit's Fort Street Cargo Facility
CBP has issued a news release announcing that officers at the Fort Street Cargo Facility discovered a total of $2,087,870 in undeclared currency in a commercial truck attempting to make entry into the U.S. on November 7, 2008. 4. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
