COAC to Meet November 20th in Washington, DC
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a notice announcing that the next meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions (COAC)1 will be held on November 20, 2008 in Washington, DC.

According to CBP, the tentative agenda for the November 20, 2008 meeting covers:

According to CBP, written material and comments are due by November 17, 2008. Also, requests to have a copy of material distributed to each member of the committee prior to the meeting are due by November 17, 2008. (CBP sources have previously stated that the public (as well as COAC members) can submit comments and materials.)
CBP states that since seating is limited, all persons wishing to attend this meeting should provide notice of attendance to Wanda Tate at (202) 344-1440, preferably by close-of-business November 17, 2008.
