4. FMC Issues Notice of Filing of Complaint Involving NVOCC in China

The Federal Maritime Commission has issued a notice stating that a complaint has been filed with the FMC by Tienshan, Inc. alleging that Tianjin Hua Feng Transport Agency Co., Ltd, a Chinese company operating as a bonded and tariff foreign-based NVOCC is unlawfully holding a bill of lading alleging debts owed by Tienshan to Tianjin. 5. FSIS Holds Off Its Review of the Interim Final Rule on Listeria

The Food Safety and Inspection Service is announcing that it did not conduct a review of the interim final rule, Control of Listeria monocytogenes in Ready-to-Eat Meat and Poultry Products, in 2007 as stated in its amended schedule plan for reviewing regulations under Section 610 of the Regulatory Flexibility Act, as amended. FSIS has decided to wait until it publishes a final rule in this proceeding before amending its plan so it can conduct a review of that final rule instead of the interim final rule. 6. TWIC Enrollment for Port of Saipan

The Transportation Security Administration is announcing that enrollment for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential for the Port of Saipan will begin on September 17, 2008. 7. NRC Receives Request to Import Radioactive Waste

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a notice announcing that it has received a request from Eastern Technologies, Inc., for an import license to import Class A radioactive waste from Brazil. The license request is for protective clothing and related products used at the Angra 1 Nuclear Power Plant in Brazil. 10. 19 U.S. Companies Will Join Clean Energy, Environmental Trade Mission to China, India

U.S. Commerce Assistant Secretary Bohigian announced 19 U.S. companies will join the third U.S. Clean Energy and Environment Trade Mission to China and India. The mission will make stops in Beijing, Jinan and Shanghai, China, as well as New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, India, from September 1-12, 2008.
