CBP Temporarily Removes ACE ABI CATAIR Entry Summary Query Chapter (to be Reworked Based on Trade Comments)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has temporarily removed the Entry Summary Query chapter of the ACE ABI CATAIR1 from its Web site.

Chapter was Removed Due to Trade Community Feedback

According to a CSMS message, this chapter (and the transactions described therein) is being reworked due to extensive, constructive feedback from members of the trade community during recent technical seminars.

Reworked Chapter to Include Additional Query Criteria, New Output Options, Etc.

Improvements will include additional query criteria, new options for output, and additional entry summary status information.

Pulled Version Should Not be Used for Development Purposes

CBP asks the trade not to use the pulled version (May 19, 2008) of the Entry Summary Query chapter for development purposes. CBP adds that the chapter will be reposted in the near future.
