New Cargo Release Chapter
Cargo Release (Certified from an ACE Entry Summary) - This new chapter provides output response records pertaining to cargo release transaction processing and information concerning cargo release processing results from an entry summary filed in ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) and certified for cargo release.
New ACE Entry Summary Documents
ACS to ACE Entry Summary Condition Cross Reference - This worksheet lists:
(1) conditions (identified by both description text and identifying code) that are currently generated by ACS in response to an EDI EI transaction (i.e., an ER response);
(2) conditions (identified by both description text and identifying code) that shall be generated by ACE in response to an EDI AE transaction (i.e., an AX response) cross referenced to the existing ACS EI conditions; and
(3) conditions (identified by both description text and identifying code) that shall be generated by ACS in response to an EDI AE transaction in which a request to 'Certify for Cargo Release' has been made (i.e., an HD response). CBP notes that only those conditions previously generated by EI are listed here. A complete list of conditions returned in an ACS HD response is documented elsewhere.
ACS EI to ACE AE Record Layout Cross Reference - This worksheet provides a cross-reference between the data elements supported in the existing ACS EI transaction and the new ACE AE transaction.
ACS EI to ACE AE Feature Comparison - This document provides an ACS (EI/ER) to ACE (AE/AX A2.2 Release) feature comparison.
Updated Appendix H
Appendix H (Census Warning Messages and Override Codes) provides a list of Census warning messages, the reasons a filer may receive the warning message, suggested options to resolve the warning, and override codes which may be used to respond to the warning.
It has been amended to include a table of contents and a Table of Changes section.
