The European Commission has posted a frequently asked questions document on its High Level Conference on Counterfeiting and Piracy that aims to provide a platform for Members of the European Parliament and major stakeholders, representing business, public administrations and civil society, to discuss the most important aspects of counterfeiting and piracy, exchange views and experiences and explore possible practical measures to enhance the fight against counterfeiting and piracy. 5. FWS Determines Threatened Status for Polar Bears
The Fish and Wildlife Service has determined threatened status for the polar bear (Ursus maritimus) under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. The FWS also created an interim final rule regarding measures that are necessary and advisable for the conservation of the polar bear.
