CBP CSMS Messages and Web Postings
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued an ABI and Truck Manifest CSMS message announcing that the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Certification Environment will be availablefrom 8:00 a.m. EDT on May 27, 2008 through 8:00 a.m. EDT on June 3, 2008. The previously announced outage for this period has been cancelled; CBP will notify the trade when it is rescheduled. 2. Weekly TRQ/TPL Commodity Report as of May 5, 2008
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of May 5, 2008. This report includes TRQs on various products such as beef, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa products, tobacco, certain BFTA, DR-CAFTA, Israel FTA, JFTA, MFTA, SFTA, UAFTA (AFTA) and UCFTA (Chile FTA) non-textile TRQs, etc. Each report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, BFTA, DR-CAFTA, CBTPA, Haitian HOPE, MFTA, NAFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA TPLs and TRQs for qualifying apparel and/or other textile articles, the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics, etc. (CBP's weekly TRQ/TPL commodity report available at http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/trade_programs/textiles_and_quotas/commodity/.)
3. CBP Issues CAMIR Amendment 12
CBP has posted Amendment 12, dated May 2008, to the Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR)-Intermodal document.
According to CBP, the changes in Amendment 12 are as follows:

4. CBP Publishes Ethyl Alcohol TRQ Close Date, Updates Workbook
CBP posted an updated Excel workbook containing historical information and the May 2, 2008 fill date for the 2008 tariff rate quota on certain ethyl alcohol.

5. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages U.S. Customs Border and Protection issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
