Miscellaneous International Trade Notices

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection sources, the April 2008 customs broker license exam had a pass rate of 20.5%, with over 1,600 people sitting for the exam. Sources add that the answer key should soon be posted to CBP's Web site, and the letters notifying candidates of their April 2008 exam scores are expected to be mailed out the week of May 7, 2008.

7. FTC to Host Meeting to Explore Mobile Marketplace Issues

8. Committee on Biotechnology and Agriculture to Hold Open Meeting

11. USTR Meets with Indonesia to Discuss TIFA

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has issued a press release announcing that USTR Schwab met with Indonesia's Minister of Trade on May 2, 2008 to discuss the U.S.-Indonesia Trade and Investment Framework Agreement. They also discussed ways to further build the U.S.-Indonesia economic relations and cooperation on regional issues and the World Trade Organization Doha Round negotiations. 12. Change in Restrictions for Former ITC Employees Representing a Party in a Five-Year Review
