1. ACE ABI CATAIR Seminars for Software Providers in CA and RI
The purpose of these seminars is to discuss the ABI changes for ACE Entry Summary and related functionality scheduled to be delivered in January 2009. The seminars will focus on the ABI technical requirements of electronic filing in ACE.
The seminars will be held on June 17-18, 2008 in Long Beach, CA and on June 24-25, 2008 in Providence, RI. Each of these seminars will be held for one full day and one half day. CBP will accommodate 50 attendees at each seminar and will accept no more than three persons from a single company. CBP notes that an agenda will be provided at a later date.

CBP rejects ACT form on carnets. CBP has rejected the following ACT request form: ACT-036 Automation of Process for Carnets. CBP seizes counterfeit cigarettes from China. CBP officers and import specialists at the Los Angeles seaport seized 49,780 cartons of counterfeit "Marlboro" and "Marlboro Lights" cigarettes that were being imported from China. APIS Pre-Departure certified vendor list. CBP has developed a list of carriers or vendors that have completed testing to process interactive Advance Passenger Information System Pre-Departure data and that have agreed to have their company included on the Certified Vendor List. This list will be periodically updated as additional carriers or vendors are added. 3. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages U.S. Customs Border and Protection issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
