3. Updated English Version of C-TPAT Minimum Security Criteria for Foreign Manufacturers
CBP has updated the English version of its Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) minimum security criteria for foreign manufacturers.
CBP revised its English version to update the "Trailer Inspection" section to list additional areas that should be included in the ten-point inspection process. (Previously there were only five areas listed; CBP's revised version adds five areas, making a total of ten areas to be checked.)
It appears as if the posted minimum security requirements for foreign manufacturers that are posted in foreign languages (e.g., Chinese, Spanish, Italian, etc.) include all ten areas of the ten-point inspection process.
