COAC to Meet May 9, 2008 in Washington, DC
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a notice announcing that the next meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions (COAC)1 will be held on May 9, 2008 in Washington, DC.

According to CBP, written material and comments are due by May 2, 2008. Also, requests to have a copy of material distributed to each member of the committee prior to the meeting are also due by May 2, 2008. (CBP sources have previously stated that the public (as well as COAC members) can submit comments and materials.)
